I’m Patrick Marshall—retired Lieutenant Commander, Certified Professional Life Coach, and creator of Servant’s Compass.
After nearly 30 years of leading military operations—and more importantly, developing leaders in the U.S. Coast Guard—I found my second calling in the world of mental health and disability support. Throughout my military career, I was driven by a deep belief that leadership is born through service, mentorship, and integrity. That same belief now fuels my work as a vocational rehabilitation specialist, helping individuals with disabilities rediscover purpose, build confidence, and become leaders in their own lives.
In 2025, I was honored to be elected President of the Autism Society of Idaho, where I advocate for awareness, inclusion, and meaningful support systems for individuals and families navigating the autism spectrum. It’s a role that reflects my lifelong commitment to servant leadership and building stronger, more human-centered communities.
My coaching is shaped by lived experience and grounded in values that have held steady through crisis and change—resilience, accountability, and compassion. I believe leadership begins with the self. Before you can lead others, you must know how to reset, realign, and respond with purpose.
I’m also a musician and visual storyteller. Through Whispers from the Root and other creative projects, I use symbolic, often gothic imagery to explore silence, survival, and strength—the things we carry when words fall short.
Servant’s Compass is more than a coaching service.
It’s a place for realignment—for people who lead, care deeply, and sometimes struggle to hold it all together. You’ll find practical tools here: forged in service, tested in crisis, and designed to help you lead yourself forward with clarity and truth.
“Guided by integrity, grounded in service, and driven by purpose, Servant’s Compass empowers individuals and organizations through trauma-informed, service-born leadership.
